The Genealogies of Memory 2026 conference hosted by the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS) in Jászvásár (Iași), Romania this fall will examine how trauma and memory are transmitted across generations, with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe. Scholars will explore postmemory, artistic reconstruction, and digital media’s role in shaping narratives of past wars, repression, and displacement.
