Hungary has officially welcomed two new Saab Gripen fighter aircraft into service, expanding its fleet to 18 aircraft while marking two decades of Swedish–Hungarian defence cooperation. Officials said the new jets will strengthen both Hungary’s air defence capabilities and NATO’s eastern flank.
